Content Creator
Marketing Team — Save The Girls
________________________________________
Represent a Women-Owned Brand with Purpose.
Location: Belleville, IL
Employment Type: Full Time / Open to Part Time
Compensation: $18-20/hour
Travel: 25% of the time, open to travel domestic and international
Role Overview
The Content Creator drives Save The Girls' organic and paid content pipeline — writing scripts and producing engaging video and image content across every platform where STG shows up: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, our BoutiqueHub page, our VIP Facebook page, and our wholesale page. This role owns creation, not distribution — the Brand Content & Communications Lead (Sydni) handles scheduling and posting, while the Content Creator is the one dreaming up, scripting, shooting, and producing what actually goes out.
Beyond content, this role is central to Save The Girls' advertising creative, live selling, and trade show presence, and is expected to use performance data (via our analytics tool, Moby) to constantly sharpen what we make next. This is a hands-on, high-output, camera-comfortable role for someone who wants to share who Save The Girls is and why we exist.
Reports to: Brand Content & Communications Lead
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
-
Write scripts and produce both video and image content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, our BoutiqueHub page, our VIP Facebook page, our wholesale page and the wholesale catalog QR code.
-
Own the full creative process from concept to finished asset — content creation here means both video and photography/image content, not video alone.
-
Bring in additional support as needed (e.g. Sydni, Elizabeth, or other team resources) for larger productions or specialty content.
-
Decide what to make: identify what's resonating, double down on what's working, and keep a steady pipeline of fresh ideas.
-
Ensure content tied back to the marketing calendar is done on time.
Advertising Collaboration
-
Work closely with the Ad Manager and the Brand Content & Communications Lead to supply relevant, on-brand creative advertising materials across platforms.
-
Ensure the Ad Manager always has the creative assets needed to keep campaigns running without delay.
Marketing Collaboration
-
Work with the wholesale team to pull products and create mock displays for them to share with wholesale customers.
Trade Show Support
-
Travel to and support various trade shows throughout the year.
-
Assist directly in sales conversations and demos while on-site.
-
Use this time to also film behind the scenes content.
Live Selling
-
Provide behind-the-scenes support during live selling events.
-
Serve as an on-camera live seller — presenting Save The Girls products directly to customers in real time.
Analytics-Driven Ideation
-
Use Moby (AI analytics tool) to analyze the performance of past video content.
-
Translate performance insights into new content ideas, concepts, and scripts — using what's proven to work as the foundation for what comes next.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Content Output
-
Consistent, on-schedule delivery of both video and image content across all assigned platforms.
-
A steady, growing pipeline of scripted concepts ready for production.
Performance & Analytics
-
Regular use of Moby to review past content performance.
-
Demonstrated evidence of applying performance insights to new content decisions (e.g. repeating and building on top-performing formats).
Advertising Support
-
100% of creative requests from the Ad Manager fulfilled on the agreed timeline.
Live Selling & Trade Shows
-
Active, confident on-camera presence during live selling events.
-
Reliable attendance and sales support at assigned trade shows.
What Success Looks Like in This Role
-
Save The Girls' content feels fresh, consistent, and unmistakably on-brand across every platform.
-
The Ad Manager and Brand Content & Communications Lead always have the creatives they need, when they need it.
-
Content decisions are driven by real performance data, not guesswork — what works gets more of it.
-
Customers watching a live selling event or trade show demo feel like they're talking to a genuine friend who found something that works — not a salesperson.
Ready to Apply?
-
Film & edit a video ready for social media. Create the video to be product focused. This could be more of a sales video, a “why you love…”, a day in the life but with more emphasis or focus on your “product” that you are showing off. Send at least one video but if you have several ideas, feel free to send up to 3.

Send your social media ready video(s) along with your resume and cover letter to our Director of Sales & Marketing via email at elizabeth@savethegirls.com.
